I’m looking for housing in Berkeley starting anytime between May 1 and July 1 (flexible on timing). I’ll be living with my large dog who is very sweet, calm, and mostly naps when he’s indoors.
I previously attended UC Berkeley for undergrad and will be returning for my Master’s in Public Health. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, cooking, baking, and reading/writing.
I'd love to find a private space if possible. Please let me know if you have a place that could be a fit.
Thank you!
Hi My name is Shawna. I am a server at a popular Fish Restaurant in La Mesa where I’ve worked for 5 years. I also own a small Maltipoo who doesn’t bark a lot and is potty trained. We are really trying to find a good place to rent . I can help the landlords if needed and I can afford up to $1500 a month although I’d love to find something for less. My credit score is 630 and rising. I am 41 years old and this will be my first place on my own. I’m a go getter I also buy and sell at auctions, mainly cars but also some storages. I am energetic, personable, outgoing, and extremely respectful. Please reach out if you have a spot you’d like to rent to a girl and her cute little dog.
My partner and I moved from Washington to California in January, accepting a work position that included free housing. Unfortunately, the financial benefits were a lie, and the nonprofit is mismanaged, even legally questionable. Further, the administrative process for healthcare in California is horrifically slow, even for disabled people.
In the move down, we spent our savings, so we are trying to find emergency housing, while we locate new jobs and housing in the Olympia area.
We are both 42, relatively in good health, and have two dogs - a twenty pound Chihuahua / Terrier mix (“Junior”), and a sixty-pound Chesapeake and chocolate lab (“Fidget”). While we cannot initially provide rent, we can provide labor for your place, and transport for you. (Having this agreement in a contract is preferred.) We will immediately be working as delivery drivers, so some money will be coming in.
Mark is, by trade, a tattoo artist and professional photographer, and Greg is a nonprofit consultant and professional editor, with both having caregiver experience in Washington (CDWA), and we will both continue this experience in Oregon.
Our goal is to have our own housing secured withing three months, no more.
Please contact us for additional information, and thank you for your time.

Me and my fiancé are currently living in our cars. We just recently moved from Montana for a job. We are looking for a 1 to 2 bed under 1600 and don’t have a lot for application fees, but we do have a deposit and everything ready to move in. We both have little credit and rental history but would be amazing and reliable tenants.
Hello, I am a single mom escaping a dv situation. Looking for a safe and stable place to live. Open to something temporary while I save, also open to more permanent arrangements. I am 31, and my child is 7. I have no criminal record, no history of drug use or drinking. I am quiet and my usual occupation is account handling. Not looking for a hand out, but to be transparent I am having to rebuild and don't have much. Please no creeps.
Owner Mindset: I treat the property as if I own it. I keep common areas, grounds, and curb appeal at a high standard.
Renovation & Project Management: I personally coordinated a full 70-room renovation—vetting contractors, managing daily demolition/install schedules, and ensuring units were cleaned and ready for occupancy the same night. I have also overseen fencing, painting, and signage projects from start to finish.
Maintenance First-Responder: I handle guest/tenant lockouts, clogged drains, and light repairs myself. I know exactly when a situation requires a licensed professional, saving you unnecessary service call fees.
Admin & Finance: Over a decade of experience in payroll, A/P, A/R, bank reconciliations, and daily financial reporting. I am highly effective at resolving tenant conflicts and enforcing community rules professionally.
Schedule & Household: I work outside the home Monday–Friday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. I also have flexible remote work hours I complete from home. This ensures I am on-site and available for the majority of the day/evening to handle showings, tenant requests, and emergencies.
Privacy Note: For safety and privacy, I am not listing my full name or phone number here. I am happy to provide my name, phone number, résumé, and LinkedIn profile once we have connected and shared basic details about your property via the Craigslist email relay.
Looking for: A long-term, stable arrangement with a property owner or company. I am open to properties of various sizes—from smaller, high-end complexes to larger multi-unit buildings.
If you are looking for a professional, reliable manager to protect your investment and reduce your daily headaches, please reply with your property location and a brief description of your needs.
