Beautiful antique wicker and wood tea or bar cart made by the noted Heywood Wakefield C .1910 features a natural finish on both the cart's braid trim and wheels. The large removable glass top serving tray (33" x 15.75" x 1.5") sits recessed and is surrounded by a beautifully woven border and a wicker braid. The cart is suitable for bar or food service. In addition to the removable serving tray are two quarter sawn oak shelves (17.5" x 7.5") on the front and back both having a beautiful bar finish. A large bottom shelf (24.5" x 17.5") is trimmed in the same woven braid. Original Heywood Wakefield Chicago label on the underside.
Cart is in great and clean condition for its age. Metal wheels still roll smoothly, but even though it's missing the smaller wheels, you can still move the cart by the large wheels. Some of the weaving is loose on one leg and the removable serving tray is missing the glass, but that can be replaced easily. Last pic shows what the cart looks like with the glass tray and the smaller wheels. Own a rare and unique gorgeous vintage item!
