For sale to qualified buyer: 1 year (born December 2024) old doe; First time freshener in milk with thriving doeling kid. First generation Mini Nubian doe is from hardy stock and kidded a large kid on her own. She is not friendly and I have decided to not continue having her in my breeding program. She is not registered but could be for an extra fee. She is mostly Nigerian Dwarf at 63.5 %.
My breeding goal priority 1 is for healthy genetic stock with little need for human intervention providing they have a healthy environment with diverse and nutritious forage and or feed. Priority 2 is for a good personality with a willingness to work with their people/person to produce milk. I am not going to tolerate a doe who runs away like a banshee when you want her cooperation. Priority 3 is good body confirmation for longevity of the goat as a productive member of the homestead.
Our herd is in its 3rd year of breeding, I am bringing in new blood to achieve my goals and do not have s closed herd. We do not test for CL and other potential diseases but buy from herds that do. We have tested our Nubian lines for the GS5 gene and have been negative for each member.
Asking $250 for doe with doeling, will hold for 2 weeks with $100 deposit. Then
