My cat went missing shortly after dusk on June 12, 2019.
He is a lilac point Siamese, and his name is Thancred or Than. He is neutered and micro-chipped with -every- vaccine up to date. He is very friendly, but was frightened and hiding when he was last seen on the 12th. Please keep an eye out whenever you can for him to be under sheds, in trees possibly, or any good hiding place.
He has a very distinguishing feature: a crooked jaw which exposes one of his bottom fangs (from some kind of accident before we adopted him where his jaw was broken and healed in wrong).
Our vet is Whitworth Animal Clinic if that matters. His kept taking his collar off, so he is not wearing one; but again, he is chipped and has recent vaccinations.
Please do not chase him. If he can be easily captured without chasing him, that's fine. We can be reached at show contact info
or on this site. We can also bring a safe, humane trap to set out to catch him if anyone sees him.
The local shelters and Madison animal control are on alert for him. We have put his litter out, his bed, and some clothes. We have a trap in out yard with tuna we keep fresh. We have posted on all the Facebook lost and found pet pages including Pawboost and Trackmypaws. We go out looking in the drains in the neighborhood as well. We have posted some signs around and have larger signs being printed to set out as well.
We have been told by nearly everyone we've talked to that he is really pretty and someone may want to keep him. In case that is true, I am offering a cash reward of $250, but also a $250 reward just as a thanks for his safe return. I don't think this will be a problem, but I want to cover my bases.
