Leidos was awarded the U.S. Air Force Cloud One Architecture and Common Shared Services contract. Leidos is seeking a DevSecOps engineer across AWS, Azure, Google, and Oracle clouds. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience to modernize a leading, global-scale multi-cloud environment in support of a critical mission, supporting USAF system resiliency, security, and cost effectiveness.
Locion:
This position will be hybrid remote. Candides will be required to work onsite as needed. Preferred candides will be loced near Hanscom AFB (Boston, MA) or work in Huntsville, AL.
Primary Responsibilities Could Include:
This individual will be responsible for developing in a scalable cloud-nive solutions, and ensuring best practices across architecture, development, deployment, and security. This is a hands-on technical role th requires rolling up your sleeves to architect, code, debug, and mentor.
- Design, implement, and support CI/CD pipelines for secure, automed software delivery.
Assist with the implemention of DevSecOps pipelines across AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Plform, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormion.
Deploy, configure, and support applicions in cloud environments.
Support availability, scalability, and performance of cloud-based systems.
Help maintain virtualized and hybrid cloud environments to meet performance and security requirements.
Implement and support automed security tools for vulnerability scanning, SAST/DAST, and container security.
In-depth experience with Java
In-depth experience integring with and delivering within DevOps toolsets/practices
Direct experience utilizing software testing performance tools, such as Junit and scripting languages, such as Python, and Bash while working in an Agile development environment
Collabore with developers, QA, security, and operions teams to support secure software delivery.
Follow established DevSecOps standards, processes, and best practices.
Minimum Qualificions
Bachelors and Two to Four years or more of experience; Masters with less than 2 years of prior relevant experience.
Secret clearance required
US citizenship required
Certificions: CompTIA Security+ or equivalent (IAT-2)
Working knowledge of DevSecOps principles and Agile methodologies (Scrum and/or Kanban).
Experience supporting or administering cloud-based plforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI).
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
Familiarity with containerizion technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).
Proficiency in least one scripting or programming language (e.g., Python, Bash, Java, Go).
Understanding of Linux/Unix systems, networking fundamentals, and version control tools (Git).
Strong collaborion and customer service skills.
Preferred Qualificions
Experience supporting DoD or USAF cloud environments (e.g., Cloud One, Plform One).
Familiarity with Zero Trust concepts.
Cloud certificions (AWS, Azure, Google, or Oracle).
Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, or ELK.
Exposure to security scanning, compliance frameworks, or DevSecOps automion.
Example certificions include: Industry Professional certificion Certified Kubernetes Applicion Developer (CKAD), Kubernetes and Cloud Nive Associe (KCNA), AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified AWS SysAdmin, AWS Certified Advanced Networking, AWS Certified Security, Azure Developer Associe, Azure Solutions Architect
