Leidos’ Defense Uncrewed Systems Integrion and Test is seeking a motived and ambitious UAS Test Engineer to join the Software, Simulion, Systems Engineering and Integrion Directore (S3I) Joint Technology Center – Systems Integrion Lab (JSIL) Technology and Certificion Center. This position conducts comprehensive examinions to verify the functionality and performance of structures, as well as assessments and evaluions of products, systems, or processes to verify performance, reliability, and compliance with specificions.

Primary Responsibilities

• Work with software developers, network engineers, and systems engineers to integre commercial and government software applicions into Opering Systems.

• Work within an Agile scrum development model producing full system installion images on a biweekly basis

• Troubleshoot and address artifacts within Linux, Windows, and hypervisor environments, including dependency issues, version compibility, and operional bugs

• Assess software applicion operion, deployment, and configurion written under various languages such as Bash, PowerShell, C++, Java, and Python

• Provide system integrion support with external systems for both third-party engineering teams and end-users

• Develop technical merial including but not limited to System Description Documents, Installion Guides, Acceptance Test Procedures, and Interface Control Documents.

Basic Qualificions

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Informion Systems, or equivalent degree from an accredited university, plus 2 – 4 years of prior relevant experience or Masters in engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Informion Systems, or equivalent degree from an accredited university with less than 2 years of relevant experience.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex system and software issues within Linux and Windows based environments

• Experience with software and hardware testing, systems integrion, or system administrion

• Experience with computing system architectures, hypervisors, and virtual machines.

• General Internet and network troubleshooting and/or Network System Admin skills

• Desire to work onsite with the highly dynamic and collaborive team environment

• Excellent written and verbal communicion skills

• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.

• Must have or be able to obtain a SECRET security clearance.

• Must be a resident of Huntsville, AL or willing to reloce to the Huntsville, AL area.

Preferred Qualificions

• Experience with technical documention writing

• Experience with Atlassian Workflow management software

• Experience with test management software

• Experience with developing automed test frameworks and scripts is a plus

• UNIX based Opering System and Windows certificions are a plus
